Cluny Abbey (France)

Cluny Abbey, also known as the Abbey of Cluny, was a Benedictine monastery located in the town of Cluny in eastern France. Founded in the 10th century, it was one of the most important religious centers in Europe during the Middle Ages and played a key role in the development of the Benedictine order.
